Activities and deliverables

In order to meet the objectives of this assignment, the team leader will undertake the following activities:

·  Collect qualitative data

·  Supervise data collectors

• Communicate with regional representatives/woreda and kebele and create conducive environment

·  Work on different related activities as per the direction from the regional coordinator

The team leader should meet the following criteria: –

· BSc Degree or above in Health Science (Environmental health, Health officer and nurse, etc) and

·  Experience in household survey supervision.

 Responsibilities:

·  Coordinate fieldwork with woreda/kebele representatives and community members to secure permission for data collection in selected Enumeration Area (EA)/households

· Develop a plan with the regional coordinator for the household visit and interviews throughout the cluster

• Lead mapping and listing of EAs using Qfield application, and map
• Collects data as per protocol, including following skip patterns, and asking questions as stated in the questionnaire;

· Supervise the daily implementation of data collection.

·  Make sure the data collection teams have all the necessary survey logistics and equipment.

·  Track the number of households completed each day and ensure data collection teams return to selected households for which questionnaires are incomplete.

· Check questionnaire responses daily for completeness

· Check Daily/Weekly Quality Control Logbooks daily for completeness and resolve any problems with equipment.

·  Transmit electronic data to the EPHI server every day
