Position: Cluster HFs HIV Case Detection and Care and Treatment Coordinator

Location. Gondar

> The cluster HFs HIV case detection and care and treatment coordinator will he responsible for the impmeniation of HIV testing, linkage . rapid ART initiation. retention and viral suppression across all ART HFs in Zone particularly priority DSD sites

> He/she provides regular & close support to priority DSD health facilities in the zone in priority issues and activities

> He/she will lead and coordinate the development of zonal level micro-planning to implement comprehensive HIV/AIDS services in line with three 95

> He/she will support HFs in impmenting case detection packages of services to enhance case finding

> He/she will also support packages of services are optimizing PITC using HIV risk screening tools in both adult & under 5 clinics, index case testing , unassisted HIVST and social network strategy (SNS) to meet zonal level HIV positive targets

> She /he will closely support the implementation of CBS activities including ensuring the functionality of the HIV response monitoring team at facility level. They will work with zonal and wereda PHEM focal in coordinating HIV positive target

• They will monitor and support health facilities to minimize testing, linkage and rapid ART initiation missed opportunities. He/she will also support health facilities in the zone to follow the two ways facility to facility and community to facility linkage of clients

• He/she will ensure the engagement to HTS providers, ART providers, MSGs and case managers to provide counseling to all identified HIV positives and document linkage to

> He/she will closely monitor and review the implemtnation of new intitiatives such as operation triple Zero, cervical cancer screening & managmnets; second & third line ART initiation ;

> He/she will monitor and support viral load testing for all clients at ART and PMTCT clines and ensure the fast tracking of HVL client and enrollment to EAS

> He/she will also follow the impmentation of the TPT accecelerated plan to ensure that all eligible clients took TPT. Thoruhout the COVID-19 epidemic.

> He/She will support zonal and health facilities staffs in providing multi-month dispensing and monitoring retention of KP clients on ART or on PREP

> He/she will ensure that the montly retention or currently on ART status of KP clents reviewed and timely feedback given to zones and KP health facilities

> He/she will monitor linkage , referral , rapid ART initiation, retention and viral suppression HIV positive clients

> He/she support HFs to do death auditing, lost to follow up tracing. Closely wok with NAPHAD to improve adherence, Retention in care and LTFU tracking. Ensure the impmentation enhanced lost to follow up tracing activities in the facilities; line lis, conduct phone calls and ensure volunteers and or CMs engagement in lost to follow up tracing activities. Ensure the achievement of 95% retention among cluster health facilities in the zone.

> He/she will also follow the integration of cervical cancer screening and management mental health screening and management. Conduct deep dive data analysis regarding case detection, linkage , ART initiation , retention , Viral load testing , suppression and EAS and develop PIP for identified.

> She /he will serve as a focal person, monitor, and report performance on regular bais. The region decided this to enable project staffs responsible for the whole HIV program activities and to ensure they have comprehensive /exprinces and cover the program activities in the absence of the other coordinator. The other reason since there are many DSD health facilities in these zones, each coordinator will closely follow cluster health facilities and provide comprehensive HIV servies. They will ensure the provision of MMD and monitor the impact of COVID -19 on retention. Each coordinator will conduct additional activities given by the zonal head or RHB program advisors. They will also follow the implementation of GBV, MHI, and PrEP provision as per the national guideing . They will support health facilities in implementing infection prevention activities as per the guideline

> She /he will also perform additional activities assigned by their supervision.

Job requirements

Required Education, Training and Experience:

> BSC in public health (health officer), Nursing, midwifery , MSC/MPH with BSC Degree in public health (Health Officer), Nursing , Midwifery

> Having training on basic consolidated HIV Testing Service or Anti Ritro Viral Treatment

> Having professional license

Experience

➢ Minimum of 4 and 2 years for first and second degree respectively in the area of HIV Testing Sevices in H1V/AIDS care and treatment program

> Experience in clinical mentorship has an added value

> Language Requirement

Speaking /Reading /Writing Amharic and English is required
