Main purpose of the job.

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced radiologist to join our esteemed team. By joining our team, the radiologist will play a vital role in contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of diverse medical conditions, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

The primary responsibilities of the radiologist will involve employing state- of -the-art medical imaging technology to effectively diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Obtain patients histories from electronic records, patient interviews, and by communicating with referring clinicians and prepares comprehensive interpretive reports of findings.
• Performs and interprets the outcomes of diagnostic imaging procedures including MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography and ultrasound to determine diagnoses.
• Administers radiopaque substances by injection, orally, and as enemas to render internal structures and organs visible on x-ray films and fluoroscopic screens.
• May perform a wide array of interventional procedures like biopsies or drain placements.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection during procedures.
• Suggest alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary
• Communicate and discuss results and diagnoses with physicians.
• Participate in quality improvement activities including discussions of areas where risk of error is high.
• Participate in continuing education activities to maintain and develop expertise.

 Education, knowledge and skills

• Medical doctor with specialty in radiology from recognized university
• Renewed license
• Can present Release letter from current organization/employer.
• Work experience – two years and above as radiologist
