Introduction
.
Ethiopian public health institute (EPHI) in collaboration with Tigary health research institute (THRI) and Seqota declaration (SD) are planning to conduct nutritional baseline assessments in different worda’s of Tigray. Hence all interested individuals who fulfill the crite a’s can apply based on the following information’s.
Background
Multi-sectorial Approach for Stunting Reduction Project (MASReP) is government-led multi- sectoral integrated program to be implemented in Seqota Declaration (SD) woreda’s with support of African Development Bank (ADB) for the actualization of one of the eight goals of SD project, zero child stunting by 2030. MASREP interventions include 1) infrastructure development/maintenance such as water supply and irrigation schemes, health, education and agriculture facilities, 2) livelihood support, production and promotion of nutritious food crops and livestock and 3) system/capacity strengthening activities.

Job Requirements
BSc in Nutrition/ Food science, Public health, Nursing, Midwifery or MD with 0 year work
Previous experience in data collection or supervision is preferred but not must
Language : Tigragna

Responsibilities
1. Delimitation of selected tabia for the data collection
2. Listing all eligible households in the selected tabia
3. Visiting randomly selected households from the list of eligible households
4. Identify eligible household members
5. Obtaining written informed consent from the selected respondents
6. Interviewing all household heads, reproductive age women, and mothers/caregivers of under- five years children in selected households, and accurately recording responses using electronic data collection system by a tablet with ODK software
7. Taking anthropometric measurements (weight, height and MUAC) of all eligible under-five years children and women of reproductive age
8. Reviewing each questionnaire on the tablet prior to leaving the respondents house and
make sure all questions are answered correctly
9. Following up with selected study participants/respondents not present during the initial interview to ensure all the required information is completed
10. Sending electronic data to EPHI server daily

2. Job title: Team Supervisor

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate fieldwork with woreda/kebele representatives and community members to secure permission for data collection in selected /households
2. Develop a plan for the household visit and interviews throughout clusters/ tabia
3. Liaise with the drivers to coordinate vehicles and logistics for the team to go to identified clusters/ tabias and households within each selected cluster tabia
4. Supervise the daily implementation of data collection
5. Spot-check households in each tabia to confirm correct households and the correct respondents are being interviewed, and re-interview selected questions to assess the accuracy of the completed questionnaire
6. Make sure the data collection teams have all the necessary survey supplies and equipment
7. Track the number of households completed each day, and ensures data collection teams return to selected households for which questionnaires are incomplete
8. Check questionnaire responses daily for completeness
9. Serve as a back-up for data collection teams
10. Help resolve any problems that data collection teams might have encountered with finding the assigned households, understanding the questionnaire, or dealing with difficult respondents
11. Confirm that all data are sent to EPHI server daily
12. Interview eligible respondents from National Nutrition Program (NNP) implementing sectors at the study woredas and region based on a facility-based checklist prepared using a tablet
Job Requirements
MSc in Applied Human Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition or Public health
Previous experience in data collection supervision is mandatory
