Job Title: Summer Camp Facilitator

Background
Flourish Health and Health Related Consultancy Service (Flourish) is a private company established with a mission contributing to the process of creating an empowered, transformed, healthy, and flourishing generation focusing on individuals, groups, organizations and institutions. We provide coaching, counseling and training in health and health related areas including psychological, emotional, healthy lifestyle and self-development areas. We do consultation and support in health-related research, evaluations and development of project proposals & strategic documents and provide consultation and facilitation of international medical travel for patients who need advanced management abroad. Flourish is organizing a summer camp for students in Addis Ababa during the school break and is looking for Summer Camp facilitators.
Summary of the Job Description
The Summer camp facilitator is responsible for the overall coordination of the summer camp activities and execution of the detailed daily activities and sessions for the campers. The incumbent will be given two days training before the start of the summer camp and will lead sessions as per the plan. This position is reporting to the Manager of the company and closely works with other staff members of the company.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
● Under the leadership of the manager of the company, is responsible for executing the day-to-day activities of the summer camp which includes facilitating communication skill, teamwork improvisation, Book club, Self-expressing and public speaking activities , creative goal setting, self-directed activities and other wellness activities
● Responsible for outdoor activities including coordinating and facilitating sports, day trips and community volunteerism and making sure that the activities are diligently conducted.
● Facilitate creative arts and crafts related activities for the summer campers including organizing art day exhibition
● Responsible for documenting lessons from the event and preparing final report on the event and Coordinate documentation process of the event
● Execute any other relevant activities assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification and Experience
● College /university graduate in health, Psychology, Economics, Management, Business, Sociology, social work or other relevant fields with zero years of experience.
● University students with similar skills can also be considered.
● Highly organized and have good planning and coordination skills.
● Experience and skill in coordination, leading team, coaching, and giving training for students or others.
● High communication skill (both oral and written) in both Amharic and English is required.High proficiency in English is a must.
● Experience in public speaking at school or other places is a plus.

● Ability to self-adapt to difficult circumstances and the environment in which we operate.
● Ability to listen to others including clients and staff.

● Professional, one who has good ethics, honest and is willing to serve as an outstanding role model in the group.
● Basic Skill in word, excel, email usage, internet, Google and other relevant software
