Job overview: /Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist with both clinical expertise and managerial skills to join our esteemed team. As an Obstetrician Gynecologist at Bushulo Mother, Newborn and Child Specialty Center, s/he will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care to our patients, as well as overseeing the department’s operations and heading the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including prenatal care, childbirth, and postnatal care.
• Conduct thorough evaluations, perform medical procedures, and advise patients on family planning and reproductive health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care.
• Manage and oversee the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, as well as supervise the medical staff.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, protocols, and guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care.
•  Monitor and assess the performance of the department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate measures.
• Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and research in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

Job Requirements

Qualification/Skill Requirements:-

• Medical degree & specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology with renewed working License
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus on maternal and child healthcare.
• Proven managerial experience, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the latest medical practices and technologies in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

Language Skill:

• Able to make advanced communication (verbal and written) in English language.
