Job Description


Immediate Vacancy:

MeQrez Health Services is a share company incorporated in October 2020 with the aim of strengthening the health sector of Ethiopia. Its primary focus is to have companies in the health sector to help alleviate the health burden of the country with projects such as General Hospital, Chain of Pharmacies, Imaging & Diagnosis Center, Import and Export of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables. MeQrez at its first phase, have pledged to bring smiles on the faces of ailing customers by providing highest customer care with affordable-cost and high-quality medication in Ethiopia by Ethiopians.

MeQrez is now looking to hire high caliber candidates who are visionary to contribute a positive impact in team of MeQrez for the following job positions:

Major Responsibilities of this role:

  • Supervises and coordinates the proper delivery of patient care by the nursing staff.
  • Provides ongoing advice and consultation to the nursing staff about proper procedures, problem solving and patient safety as well as evaluating the quality and appropriateness of nursing care and documentation of care provided.
  • Facilitates the team approach by recognizing each nurse as an important part of the MHSSC care team, serving as a liaison for the nursing staff by conducting appropriate meetings to communicate policy and planning decisions, operational requirements and related matters.
  • Assists in preparation of budgetary recommendations of medical supplies.
  • Helps to assure excellent patient care for MHSSC patients by determining nursing staff strengths and weaknesses by performing periodic audits of nursing procedures and analyzing the data.
  • Promotes quality patient care by overseeing that necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Provides quality patient care by observing, monitoring, assessing, reporting and recording patient concerns, conditions and responses.
  • Coordinates and assists in the delivery of a plan of health care with all members of the health team.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources and Nursing Service Department in regards to employees’ absence, leaves, and disciplinary issues and so on.

Required Number: 2

Term of Employment: Permanent up on satisfactory completion of the probationary period.


Job Requirements


Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing/PH/HO.
  • 3 – 5 years demonstrated work experience on the role.
  • Strong verbal & written communication.
  •  Proficiency in problem solving and strong active listening.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
