Job Description

Core Job Description
• Ensure effective Monitoring and Evaluation during the project implementation.
• Ensure timely data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Technical assistance and support to Hospitals and Health Centres in monthly data collection.
• Participate on the quarterly supportive supervision activities with the project team.
• Prepare data collection tools, reports and other required documents for the smooth running of CUAMM projects
• Support the PM and MEAL manager in preparing periodic reports to donors and government offices.
Additional job Description Requirements
• Support data collection exercises/training to HFs level staff according to the needs.
• Support and facilitate operational researches and surveys conducted during project implementation especially during the KAP surveys.
• Produce timely, accurate, and complete reports that meet CUAMM and donor standards and requirements.
• Lead the activities related to the Accountability to Affected Population (AAP) of the projects
• Any additional assignment, according to the position, given by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

.

Minimum Job Requirements 

• BSc degree in Social Sciences, Monitoring and evaluation, Demography, Information Management, Public Health, Population Studies and/or any other related field.

• At least 5 years of proven work experience as M&E Officer at Woreda Health office or Zonal health offices or Hospital.
• Demonstrated experience in using DHIS2 and experience in data processing and management of surveys, assessments, researches and databases.
• Excellent proved mastery of Word, Excel, Power Point, mobile/tablet data collection, data management and information systems Epi-Data, Epi-Info or other related software.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• Inclined to collaborate and cooperate in a team-work context.
A+ Requirements
• Firm experience in supervision at field level and in health information management system HMIS, DHIS2
• Knowledge and skills to apply statistical concepts and statistical software (ODKA, Kobo tool…etc.)
• Deep understanding of data collection and analysis methods and managing the monthly, quarterly and annually data collection of the project (CUAMM DHSI2 platform, PMP).
• Previous work experience with INGOs.
• Knowledge of Amharic, Anywack and Nuer languages.
