Introduction
Graduate scholarships to attend the University of Gondar which is fully funded by the Mastercard Foundation are now open. Citizens of Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti, South Sudan, and Eritrea with a Bachelor’s degree earned in the past 5 years from a recognized university at the time of application and intend to be a full-time graduate student of physiotherapy, nursing, sociology, psychology, law, public health, development and environmental management studies, optometry, special need and inclusive education or gender and development studies are welcome to apply.
Scholarships will be awarded based on applicants’ academic ability, leadership potential, socioeconomic need, and evidence of a disability (in certain instances).

Scholarships are available in: law, public health, gender and development studies, sociology, physiotherapy, psychology, development & environmental management studies, optometry, Nursing, and Special Need and Inclusive Education

Inclusion
The Scholars Program and UoG has been promoting inclusion by focusing on accessibility, assistive devices, mentoring, accessible transportation, training, support, and guidance and counseling people with disabilities.

Graduate requirements
Youth with physical disability and females with financial need are eligible to apply. Application requirements include BA from a recognized university in the past 5 years with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale). Graduate scholarships are open for talented Ethiopians, Eritreans, South Sudanese, Somalian and Djiboutians.

Scholarship Package
The Scholarship Package includes stipend, tuition fee, living and board, computer, basic medical coverage, assistive devices, camps, trainings and much more
