Title: ICU Nurse

Required No: Two (2)

Location: Addis Ababa

Duration: Full Time

Starting Date: Immediately after employment agreement concluded

Reporting to: N/A

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Critical Patient Care:

• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and conditions continuously.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Implement and manage life-saving procedures in emergency situations.

2. Collaborative Teamwork:

• Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and cohesive patient care.

3. Patient Advocacy:

• Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.

4. Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Document all interventions, assessments, and changes in patient status.

5. Continuous Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Monitor changes in patients’ conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Adhere to established protocols and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
